Hi Redmond,
The default Sympa behavior disables automatic reminders. To make sure, double check that the 'default_remind_task' sympa.conf parameter is not set.
Other service messages that Sympa sends include : bounce notifications, message moderation and confirmation requests.
I don't know if you also wish to disable these ones...

The subscribers for this list are auto populated via a sql data source.
It is extremely important that the subscribers to the list, other than the
list owner and moderators, *not* receive any email generated from the list
other than regular list messages. In other words I just wanted to make
absolutely sure that subscribers do not receive reminders or any other type
of administrative messages, unless sent directly by a moderator.
Are there any settings I need to pay close attention to?
