We just discovered from a user's report that our Sympa site is useless in Internet Explorer 7, which is soon to become an automatic update for Windows users. Links and selectors in the login box are totally non-functional, etc. And the problem persisted even when I reverted to a full set of the default Web templates for our version of Sympa, v5.1.2. But I see that the lists page at sympa.org works fine, running v5.3a.9.

I don't see anything in the release notes about fixing a compatibility problem with IE 7 -- am I just missing it? I'm just wondering if we know what the difference is and it was a deliberate change, or if it was an accidental side-effect of something totally unrelated.
Not accidental : version 5.3 improve the stylesheet and xhtml in order to make it conform to W3C standard. In addition a great work was done to provide better accessibilty for blind persons (this was done by Adrien Brard during training period with us)
This does beg a follow-up question: is it really the case that Sympa is (will be) incompatible with IE 7? I don't use IE myself, but I have to assume that various of my list users do.
