Hi Warren,

You have 2 ways to make your custom templates internationalized in Sympa :
  1. have a separate language-dependant template in a ll_CC directory (fr_FR for instance). In your case you'd have a ~sympa/etc/create_list_templates/your_list_model/fr_FR:comment.tt2 file with the template description in French. The ~sympa/etc/create_list_templates/your_list_model/comment.tt2 being the default description.
  2. have a multi-lingual comment.tt2, using the template variables :
[% IF locale == 'fr_FR' %]
Perso
[% ELSE %]
Custom
[% END %]
We're currently working on a better i18n documentation in Sympa reference manual.

I've created a bunch of customised "create_list_templates" for my Sympa install. How do I translate them? I was expecting something similar to the topics.conf where for every "title" line there is also a "title.fr" where the translated French entry goes but that does not seem to be the case for these "create_list_templates" files, particularly the comment.tt2 files. Note all my customisations are under /etc/sympa, whereas sympa is installed into /home/sympa.
