Hi, address@concealed wrote: Olivier did answerIs it possible to configure sympa such that priviledged owners are able to add other priviledged owners to their lists? I've got at least one user listed as a PO on a list who's only able to add normal owners, can't figure out where that's changed. Thanks! Only listmasters can set the owner profile to "Privileged". The aim of the "privileged" profile is to keep track of who is responsible for the mailing list. He forgot to say how to change it : the edit_list.conf config file is the file to define who can edit each list parameter. The default configuration (~sympa/bin/etc/edit_list.conf) specify that attribute "profile" of parameter section "owner" can be read but not modified unless by listmaster. This is the config we are using because we don't want that the initial list owner disappear from the list definition. You can change that by copying and modifying this file in ~sympa/etc/<robot domain>/etc/edit_list.conf (or in sympa/etc/etc/edit_list.conf) and add the red row : owner owner read owner.profile owner,privileged_owner read owner privileged_owner write owner.profile privileged_owner write owner.info owner hidden First column select a parameter (<x>.<y> is for parameter <y> from paragraph <x> ), second column is for specifying who is concern and last column what action for. This configuration file can be used to hide some parameters to list owners in order to make the configuration file much more simple for them. Serge |
