It's not an option of Sympa. May be it should be. You have to edit the 
template that contain the rss link. Just use grep to find it. Remember 
that later update of sympa erase ~sympa/bin ; copy your customized site 
web templates in ~sympa/etc/web_tt2

Archive access is controled by list parameter that can be edited from 
wed admin interface. "private" is the key word for access restricted to 
list members
