It looks like your wwsympa.conf file has a bad entry arc_path entry with an ending space.
You should remove it.

(Actually we should also remove it while parsing the config file...)

As some of you have noticed, I am struggling to upgrade a cpl of 4.0 servers.

After the upgrade, I saw output such as below in my logs:

Could not rename /home/sympa/arc/ address@concealed
to
/home/sympa/arc/ address@concealed
; directory already exists

I did not find an explanation, but the lists _worked_ so I ignored it.

But then I found that archiving for the virtual robots did not work.

Nov 21 14:55:06 scooter wwsympa[17181]: [robot www.ffd.nu] [client
213.212.33.18] [user address@concealed] [list ffd-testlista] do_arc(, ) Nov 21
14:55:06 scooter wwsympa[17181]: [robot www.ffd.nu] [client
213.212.33.18] [user address@concealed] [list ffd-testlista] do_arc: no
directory /address@concealed

So, what I did today was to delete the directories it complained over in
the first paragraph (or rather, renamed them).

I then restarted the sympa processes, and everything, including the
archive worked as expected.
