The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Folks,

I'm trying to determine if there's a way to allow users to request a  
family-based list through the web interface and the  
create_list_request action.  I'd like to use families to manage our  
general lists since I believe it would make keeping a large volume of  
them (we've got approximately 1800 Majordomo lists, and most of those  
will be migrating to Sympa) under control a lot easier, but I'd also  
really like to be able to offer our users the web list request  
interface and our admins the web approval queue.  Is there a way to  
make the two work together, or is using sympa.pl the only way to  
instantiate a family-based list?
