The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

When a user tries to create a new list under Sympa 5.0.1 they fill  
out their list creation form and the information is passed from  
wwsympa.fcgi to admin::create_list_old.  Create_list_old does some  
checking to see if the information is correct and if not it returns  
undef.  This means that the Web server can only report that the  
creation failed but not WHY it failed.  In the case of an illegal  
character in the listname this can be very frustrating for a user  
that doesn't know what the problem is.

There needs to be a way to pass error-codes back to wwsympa from the  
list creation code!  Is anyone working on this or should I implement  
something myself?
