Hallo list,

regrading to my previous posts 'trouble with owner approval', we have
found out, that our companys mailserver (Exchange) puts a new line
character to the subject, if its longer then 65 letters.

E.g.

i send following mail:
....
From: address@concealed
To: address@concealed
Subject: auth d41b9458 ADD xxx_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
address@concealed
....

On sympa i recieve this (look at the line break in subject) The mails are
stored
$SYMPA_HOME/spool/msg/bad:

....
From: address@concealed
To: address@concealed
Subject: auth d41b9458 ADD xxx_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx oliver.walter@boschrexroth
.de
....

So my question is: Is there any possibility to filter this "NEWLINE"
character
just before or after queuing it? Does anybody already know this problem and
a solution (maybe config in exchange)? We already tried Outlook Web Access
and the problem was the same.
