A lot experience about troubles with big ISPs has been related in "list-nanagers" mailing list.

Most of them comes from anti-spam tools used by ISPs. A mailing list look like a spammer, it is really difficult to detect automatically a spammeur from a mailing list manager especially when the mailing list include a bulk mailer as Sympa does. The maxrcpt parameter deseigned to control the grouping factor may be the main reason why a Sympa look like a spammer.
