I just had the same problem last week. The error message seems to
be a bit misleading. It went away when I finally figured out how
to put in the administrative user name correctly. I needed to put
the full email address just as it is in the database. Then
everything worked correctly without any further messages about
ldap. Perhaps your problem is different than mine was, I'm no
expert having just started setting it up for the first time.
