The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

You should be able to log in on the web interface (http://xxx/wws) as listmaster (if the corresponding address was declared as listmaster in sympa.conf).

You mention a md5 password. What does it look like ? Where did you get it from ?
(To get the initial password to log in, you should hit the "send me my password" button on the web interface. The sympa.pl process should be running)

Is such situation you should try the usual sysadmin behavior :

1. check Sympa log files
2. check Apache log files
3. check MySQL log files
4. set Sympa to a higher log level if required
   

You should definitely appreciate Sympa...once it's running.
