Hello all,
first off, i'm sorry if i'm repeating a question that was already asked. i 
did search the archives and the FAQs, but couldn't find what i was looking 
for.
 
i'm installing sympa under solaris as an unprivileged user.  this is what i 
get when i run the initscript:

Starting Sympa subsystem:
Starting module sympa.pl:
unix dgram connect: Socket operation on non-socket at /home/lists/bin//Log.pm

no connection to syslog available at /home/lists/bin//Log.pm line 103
failure

(all other modules start fine).
i'm not much of a unix expert, so i consulted my sysadmin about this. he told 
me that Sys::Syslog doesn't work on solaris, and suggested that i rewrite 
Log.pm so it would log to another file. i was wondering if anyone had a 
better idea?
