Why does this file need to be gid sympa?
Because the user sympa needs write access to it in order to create new
lists (for example when lists are created by the web interface).
The user sympa has write access anyway since it is uid sympa. Why does /etc/mail/sympa_aliases need to be gid sympa (which grants read-only access to members of the "sympa" group)? Does apache need to read it?
Thanks,
