The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Sympa 4.0.a6 is running on our server listes.cru.fr. There are still some feature we wish to add before it starts a beta cycle :

1. adding a 'generic_sso' authentication backend mainly for Shibboleth interop. (see http://shibboleth.internet2.edu/)
2. including the Sympa SOAP server in the main distribution
3. we'll probably make some changes to the automatic bounces management

(1) is almost finished
We'll be working on (2) in the next 2 weeks (mainly because it is required for the French Esup-portail project (see http://www.esup-portail.org/).
(3) does not require too much time.

We should be able to announce a stable 4.x beta version in 1/2 month time. But Sympa 3.4.3.3 is a very stable release ; migrating to 4.x will not require too much energy (if any).

I'm trying to decided if I should just hang in there with Mailman a little longer and then migrate to Sympa 4 (~4.2), or if I should go ahead an migrate to Sympa 3.
