Actually Sympa is basicly a mailing lists' server application with some
features to interact also via web (Post/Reply to Post from web).
On the PHPBB forum there's an interesting thread about the development of an
integration between PhpBB Forum and a mailing list server app.

Watching at the actual Sympa features I think that the needed features to
have this integration already exist on Sympa.
Imagine to transform the Sympa web interface in something similar to PhpBB
interface, that will be more accessible and usable by web users, and you will
have a revolutionary app that integrates perfectly two worlds, webforum and
mailing lists.
I'm not a programmer. Is there some one interested to work on it?
