I made two changes to the ~sympa/etc/mhonarc-ressources file (neither of which
involved correcting the misspelling of the name ;) for this same reason:
1. Add a line saying "<SPAMMODE>", which tells MHonArc to replace the domain
parts of all From: addresses with xxxxxxx within all archived messages. I
added this line after the <MIMEARGS></MIMEARGS> resource, but I think it
can go anywhere.
2. Change this line, which appears 4 times:
<LI><b> $SUBJECT$ </b> <code>$FROMADDR$</code>
to this line:
<LI><b> $SUBJECT$ </b> -- <code>$FROMNAME$</code>
This replaces the sender's address with their name in the index listing
of archived messages, with the dashes added only for cosmetic reasons.
There's another change I haven't managed yet, which is substituting the
user's name for email address as the owner of files in the document sharing
area. Slightly trickier, and certainly less critical.
