The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Hello, everyone out there!

This question was already in December 2001 there:
Is it possible to subscribe to a list, for example open_quiet,
and receiving no welcome message at all?

Although configured with open_quiet, I always receive
the message generated from the welcome.tpl.

Is there a way of skipping this message?
