We have added a new (optional) feature in sympa :
When sending a welcome message, sympa can use a unique Return-path
in order to recognize the subcriber email and the related list
whatever is the bounce format. Exemple :
Return-path: address@concealed
If a bounce occurs with this welcome message it will be caught by
sendmail using the following alias :
bounce+*: "|/home/sympa/bin/bouncequeue sympa"
Then bounced.pl remove the new subscriber from the list.
This is based on a nice sendmail feature. Is there the
equivalent feature in QMAIL and Postfix ? If so, could you
describe it in order to keep sympa compatible with all major
smtp agents ?
Do you think it's usefull to use the same scheme when sending
a REMIND ?
