I'm back from holidays.

For the record, that kind of commit is unnecessary: Our version creation script handle this change.
I'll revert the commit to make sure it works.

Dear Soji, Do you think it's OK for me to tag the beta now?

the plan is to test, this week, install on a fresh server, migration of the demo virtual host on this new server. Next week, If everything works well, Ill upgrade our production server to the 6.2 beta.
