After a bit of reflexion, tough, you got a point here. This part of the 
current code base if probably the easiest to replace by external code, 
as quite delimited. This may even be a 6.3 objective, if we can set some 
roadmap.

I'm however not decided between Any::Daemon, Net::Server, and the 
various similar alternatives available on CPAN. Do you have any idea of 
pros/cons of each ones ?
