Hi Annie, There is a dedicated doc about upgrading a server, including when you move to new hardware : https://www.sympa.org/manualtest/upgrading Basically, you should install a new Sympa 6.0.1 on the new server without the data of the previous server. Check that everything is working fine by creating a dummy list. Then you will sopt the old server, backup the data, move them to the new server. Then you change the version number in "etc/data_structure.version". This file contain only the version number. change it to your previous version number (5.3). Then launch "sympa.pl --upgrade". It will update the config files and, if you use mySQL or SQLite, the database. You should also check the web server configuration : https://www.sympa.org/manual/web-interface#web_server_setup Best regards, David Annie Simeau a écrit : address@concealed">Hello, -- David Verdin Comité réseau des universités |
