We definetely think list creation is a usefull SOAP feature. We will
have a look (and a try) with your modified version of the SOAP module
ASAP. We should be able to help you debug it and see how it can fit in
Sympa distribution.

Unfortunately we're currently both participating Internet2 meeting ; be
patient....
