Announcements of new sympa release

Hi every Sympa users.

It's time to give you some news about Sympa road map. The development 
process is still in progress. We are preparing 5.4.4 with a lot of bug 
fixes. I am sure that the "bug cleanup process" process will please 
those who are waiting for it. (david Verdin is now back again on Sympa 
project after 5 month on another project ).

We are also preparing Sympa 6.0 which will include some major changes 
such as the passwords management policy, a redesigned scalable bulk 
mailer + some other nice  features.  When alpha and beta versions  of  
version 6 are available, we will propose them to beta testers with a 
dedicated support. This professional support will be restricted to 
registered beta testers. This way they will have the assurance that they 
can have fast help. On the other end, Sympa development team will thus 
have the guaranty that enough tests will be performed on various 
platforms so as to prepare the first stable 6.0 version.

Agenda:
* 5.4.4 will be available before December 15th
* 6.0 stable is expected for June 2009
