Announcements of new sympa release

This release include many new features as well as many bug fixes reported since Sympa 5.1.2. The major new feature that many of you requested is the full virtual hosting support ; this includes the ability to manage lists with the same name in different virtual domains. Below is a list of the major new features coming with this new Sympa version :

• Full virtual hosting support. You can now create 2 lists with the same name in different virtual hosts.
• Message topics : list messages can be tagged with topics. List owners define a set of available topics for the list. List members can select topics and only receive related messages. See documentation for more info.
• VERP (Variable Envelop Return Path) for bounce managment. Check the related documentation.
• SQLite is now supported
• Performances optimization for sites using large number of lists
• Huge update of translations (Swedish, Greek, Dutch, Portuguese, Turkish, Norwegian)
• Shibboleth support has been extended to allow email address confirmation. (John-Paul Robinson, University of Alabama at Birmingham)
• Auth.conf file can be defined for each virtual host.
• New LDAP-enabled version of alias_manager.pl (F.Lachapelle)
• New nrcpt_by_domain.conf file allows to control the number of recipients per SMTP session, depending on the destination domain.
• New max_month parameter for web_archives : the maximum number of month section in archive (automatically remove older)
• Now only keep one copy of messages for archives. No more archiving in expl/list/arc directory Mail archive command now uses web_archive. Old list parameter section for archives still in use for access control.
